On June 2, 1973, Red Rose Speedway, the second studio album Paul McCartney released with his post-Beatles band Wings, reached the top of the Billboard 200. The same day, “My Love,” the lead (and only) single from the album, peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
