A portrait of John Lennon created by the ‘fifth Beatle’ before his tragic death could fetch thousands of pounds when it comes up for auction at Ewbank’s in Surrey. Stuart Sutcliffe’s haunting painting had hung in the Imagine singer’s Surrey home until he ripped it up during a moment of frustration and gave it to a friend.
