John Lennon’s former companion, May Pang, showcases ‘Lost Weekend’ photos | Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

For decades, May Pang kept her pictures of former Beatle John Lennon in a box under her bed — until now.

The former music executive dated Lennon during an 18-month period in 1973-75 when he was separated from Yoko Ono. It came to be known as the “Lost Weekend.”

During that time, she took candid photos of him with a Nikon camera and portrait lens.

She’s now decided to share the formerly unseen photos to show everyone how she saw Lennon.

For the past two years, Pang has traveled to more than 50 cities around the United States, personally presenting her photos in art studios. On June 10-11, she will stop at Atithi Studios in Sharpsburg, where she will showcase and sell prints of the pictures.
