A man with a self-acknowledged searing temper, Lennon’s position as The Beatles defender and agitated aggressor was rarely challenged. Though he was delicate in song and rarely option for all-out violence in any matter, John Lennon was never one to mince his words.Whether it was The Beatles or his solo projects, the bespectacled icon was never afraid to critique his own work, often saving his most scathing comments for the songs he’d written himself. Lennon was a turbulent character and it meant some tunes he was happy to add his name to would soon be found in his troublesome crosshairs.
