In case the £1350 super deluxe edition of John Lennon’s Mind Games wasn’t enough for you (or even the £130 deluxe for that matter), some new mixes of just the title track of John’s 1973 album are being released on a limited edition 3LP vinyl package.Called the ‘Meditation Mixes’, these nine mixes see the song “radically altered, slowed down and extended” with running times ranging from 5 to over 23 minutes. We are told this allows “the musical soundtrack to wash over the listener and provide a relaxing, immersive, deep listening and meditative experience”.
