River House Gallery will present present an intimate look at John Lennon in “The Lost Weekend: Photographs of May Pang,” for two days only July 18 and 19, 4-8 p.m.During the exhibit, the photographer, who was the rock ‘n’ roll legend’s mistress, will be at the gallery at 425 Jefferson Ave., Toledo.From late 1973 through 1975, May Pang was a central figure in one of the most significant and productive chapters of John Lennon’s post-Beatles career. More than a whirlwind romantic partner, Pang was a budding music industry professional who helped Lennon produce three solo albums during their time together, including “Walls and Bridges” – which included Lennon’s only #1 Hit Single, “Whatever Gets You Through the Night.” She was also a talented photographer who captured countless images of one of the most iconic figures of the 20th Century.
