Here comes the sun! Alice + Olivia, the popular NYC-based brand launched by designer Stacey Bendet has partnered with The Beatles estate for a one-of-a-kind capsule collection featuring the band’s legendary lyrics utilizing pop-art inspired prints reminiscent of the 1960s.“Over the past year, there have been multiple times when I said that we need to ‘Come Together,’ as a community, as a nation, and as one world,” Bendet told Billboard. “I subconsciously kept referencing The Beatles’ songs and then one day, I said we need to bring this music back. We need to bring this messaging back. We need to inspire our customers and fans with positive messaging. It feels so relevant right now.” The colorful collection showcases The Beatles’ hits with bright yellow cropped sweaters embroidered with “Here Comes the Sun,” multicolored sleeveless shift dresses with all four members faces screen printed across the front, standout denim jackets and sequin bombers featuring the band’s iconic font and an assortment of vintage and album cover inspired t-shirts. I have been getting the most amazing responses to the collection. It’s like a new generation of Beatlemania.”The Beatles collection will officially be available for purchase starting November 7 at Saks Fifth Avenue and Alice + Olivia stores worldwide, with items ranging from $195 – $1,295.
