“I hadn’t realized it had opened 90 years [ago], it opened in 1931,” says “If These Walls Could Sing” director Mary McCartney while discussing Abbey Road Studios. “If someone had quizzed me, I would’ve said it opened in like 1961 or something. When I was asked to direct the documentary, I didn’t know a lot of the more historical point beats throughout the history of the Abbey Road Studios. It’s sort of the surprising element.
