Steven Van Zandt recently addressed the plagiarism accusations against Ed Sheeran and how the pop singer’s case differed from the late Beatles icon George Harrison’s.A simple, subconscious mistake had cost Harrison dearly when a plagiarism lawsuit accused the rocker of copying the Chiffons’ track, ‘He’s So Fine,’ while composing and arranging the chart-topping piece, ‘My Sweet Lord.’ As the jury found the guitarist guilty, this wasn’t the case when similar accusations surfaced against Sheeran.
