John Lennon was inspired to write songs by a variety of strange things, and “She Said She Said” was no exception. Revolver, one of the Beatles’ first experimental albums, featured the song. They didn’t just play around with new sounds. John and Paul McCartney began writing songs about subjects other than love. A good example is “She Said She Said.” The Beatles’ experiences with LSD were largely responsible for this.
After an LSD-induced conversation about death with Peter Fonda, John Lennon wrote “She Said She Said.”
John’s “She Said She Said” began with “bad vibes,” according to Rolling Stone.
During their West Coast tour in late 1965, The Beatles stayed in Benedict Canyon in Los Angeles. Actor Peter Fonda appeared with Roger McGuinn and David Crosby of The Byrds one night. Although Paul did not attend, an LSD party began.
