When George Harrison was 17 years old, the Beatles witnessed a private moment with him.

Even as teenagers, THE BEATLES were like brothers, and the quintet (at the time) witnessed a pivotal moment in George Harrison’s life in Germany in 1958.

The Beatles were given a residency slot in Hamburg, Germany, when they visited in the late 1950s.

Stuart Sutcliffe, the band’s bassist at the time, and Pete Best, the band’s first drummer, accompanied John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison.

The band made the most of their rock and roll lifestyle by sleeping in a concrete room every night in between shows.

“The room had been an old storeroom, and there was nothing but concrete walls and nothing else,” McCartney later revealed.

“There was no heat, no wallpaper, and no paint; and there were two sets of bunk beds, each with only a few covers, like little camp beds.”

“We had become ice cold.”

With only one room between them, the boys didn’t have much to hide.

At the age of 17, Harrison was the group’s youngest member.

He was so young, in fact, that he got in trouble with the local cops for working abroad.

In November 1960, Harrison was deported from Germany after it was discovered he was 17 years old and working abroad.
