Linda’s wearing a sweater, with her face in profile, slightly upraised and presented against a sunny blue sky, her hair catching the light like a halo.”Remembering Linda with love today,” McCartney writes. “Beautiful memories.”Paul met Linda Eastman in May of 1967 in London, when she was a 25-year-old photographer. They were married March 12, 1969 and remained nearly inseparable until Linda’s death from cancer on April 17, 1998.McCartney had a brief, tumultuous marriage to former model Heather Mills from 2002 to 2008.
