Yuri Pool and his McCartney Years bandmates return home for the holidays by playing a sold-out Aeolian Hall on Saturday night.The band will play music associated with two ex-Beatles, the late John Lennon, who was killed 36 years ago today, and Sir Paul McCartney, who continues to tour and record.Helmed by Glencoe-area Beatles expert Pool, the London-based McCartney Years is often out on the road, celebrating hits from McCartney’s six-decade career.Saturday’s show, titled LennonMcCartney, is billed as “a period-true recreation of life, love and songwriting from their prime.” Songs written by Lennon and McCartney are among the all-time greats, whether created during their collaboration with The Beatles or in their solo careers.
