Paul McCartney tour kicks off Sept. 29. Help crown his greatest song
The legendary Beatle and solo artist Paul McCartney will kick off his new tour Monday, Sept. 29, at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, and to mark the occasion, the Desert Sun is launching a bracket-style poll to determine the best Paul McCartney song of all time.
From Beatles classics to Wings hits and solo gems, 16 iconic tracks will go head-to-head in a fan-powered tournament. Think of it as March Madness for music lovers — only this time, it’s melodies battling for glory.
How it works
The 16 songs were seeded by Desert Sun editors and placed into a four-bracket tournament. Voting opens at 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 2, and continues round-by-round until a winner is crowned on Monday, Sept. 22, a week before McCartney takes the stage in Palm Desert.
