Todd Rundgren wraps up his current U.S. solo tour with a pair of concerts over the Memorial Day weekend in New Haven, Connecticut. The shows, which take place Sunday and Monday at the College Street Music Hall, originally were supposed be held at Daryl Hall‘s venue Daryl’s Place in Pawling, New York, but recently were moved.After his trek winds down, Rundgren will switch his attention to Ringo Starr‘s All Starr Band, which launches its own stateside outing on Friday, June 3, in Syracuse, New York.Starr currently is working on a new studio album, a follow-up to last year’s Postcards from Paradise, which for featured the first song ever co-written by an All Starr Band lineup — “Island in the Sun.”Rundgren tells ABC Radio that he isn’t sure if Ringo will ask the group’s members to collaborate on a song for the new record.
