Houston – For decades, John Lennon’s “Lost Weekend” has been covered in mystery and speculation. Now, May Pang, the woman at the heart of it all, is setting the record straight. With a free three-day exhibition sharing rare photos and intimate details from her time as Lennon’s companion and creative partner.Despite the name, the so-called “Lost Weekend” was a time of creativity and growth for Lennon according to Pang. It spanned from 1973 to 1975, during which he was separated from Yoko Ono and in a relationship with Pang. More than just a romantic partner, she was considered a key figure in Lennon’s artistic resurgence, encouraging him to reconnect with his son Julian, reunite with Paul McCartney, and collaborate with music legends like Elton John and David Bowie.
