When Paul McCartney and John Lennon met as teenagers, John, being two years older, naturally assumed the leadership role in what would eventually become The Beatles.However, following the death of manager Brian Epstein in 1967, Paul took control and stepped up to fill his shoes. In the Disney+ documentary The Beatles: Get Back, it’s evident that Paul’s leadership style was charismatic and he seemed more dominant than John during the 1969 Let It Be sessions.
