We were so saddened to wake up this morning to hear the very sad news that Joey Molland passed away last night. He had been fighting his illness in the hospital the past two months. Joey was 77 years old. He was not only a FEST regular special guest dating back to the 1980s, he was a good friend. Our hearts go out to his partner Mary, and his family.

Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist, Entertainer extraordinaire., Joey never mailed it in. He was genuinely thrilled to be onstage, talking about Badfinger, The Beatles, Mal Evans, his bandmates, Apple and all that goes along with that. Joey had a great sense of humor and such a wonderful smile, especially when he was on stage performing. Joey will be sorely missed by everyone who ever saw or met him.
