A Japanese tea service bought by George Harrison when he was confined to a hotel room because of Beatlemania has gone on display in a museum.The set, one of three bought by Harrison in 1966, was given to tour manager Neil Aspinall and passed on to his son Roag Best, who now runs the Liverpool Beatles Museum on Mathew Street.Mr Best, the half-brother of the band’s original drummer Pete Best, said: “The Beatles had gone to play the Budokan. They played five shows in a three-day period and were playing to in excess of 10,000 people a show.
