SANDUSKY — It’s been estimated there are more than 2,000 books about the Beatles.Sandusky resident Helen Marketti hopes you’ll pick her new book, “The Long and Winding Phone,” out of the stack.The title alludes to a Beatles tune, “The Long and Winding Road,” and to the fact that Marketti’s book consists of interviews with people who have connections with the Fab Four.The interview subjects in “The Long and Winding Phone” include Pattie Boyd, ex-wife of both George Harrison and Eric Clapton; Pete Best, the band’s drummer before Ringo Starr; May Pang, John Lennon’s girlfriend when Lennon was separated from Yoko Ono, and Julian Lennon, John Lennon’s son.
