John Lennon’s final words have been revealed in a new documentary which unpicks the tragic day the former Beatles frontman was shot dead, and the aftermath of his murder.In Lennon: Murder Without A Trial, multiple witnesses recount publicly for the first time what they saw on December 8, 1980 when Mark David Chapman shot Lennon with a .38-caliber handgun, firing five shots and hitting the superstar in the back four times.Jay Hastings worked as a concierge on the front desk at The Dakota, the famous apartment building where Lennon lived and was shot outside, in Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
