Sean Ono Lennon, John Lennon’s son, spoke about Imagine, his father’s album. Sean believes one of the album’s producers was underappreciated. Sean then went into detail about why this was so.

One of the songs from “Imagine” is “sexy and mean,” according to John Lennon’s son.

Sean discussed a few of his father’s solo tracks during a 2020 interview with Rolling Stone. “How Do You Sleep?” from the Imagine album was one of them. “How Do You Sleep?” Sean thought was a sexy song with derogatory lyrics.

“[The alternate take] proves, I should mention, that my mother did produce Imagine,” Sean said. “She worked in the entertainment industry as a producer.” Obviously, there’s been a great reckoning for women who have been discredited over the years, but I think this is a perfect, obvious one that there’s no debate about.”
