He may be a founding member of The Beatles, considered a legend and one of the greatest musical minds ever, but it seems even Sir Paul McCartney struggles to impress his grandchildren.An intimate performance from music royalty in your own house sounds like a dream, but for Paul McCartney’s grandkids, seemingly the TV comes first.
Sir Paul has admitted that his grandchildren are determined to keep him humble, begging him to put his guitar away whilst they try and enjoy their favourite TV shows.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, the 79-year-old said: “I occasionally play around the house… it depends on what they’re doing.
“They’ve maybe got some game going and I’m trying to say, ‘Look, people come to see me, pay money, but you’re not even remotely interested.”
He continued: “They say, ‘Granddad, look do you mind? We’re watching this programme.'”
