It’s still rock and roll to them.

Paul McCartney, Don Henley. Garth Brooks, Pink and AC/DC singer Brian Johnson helped Billy Joel celebrate his 70th birthday at Madison Square Garden Friday.

While those rockers all sent the Piano Man birthday wishes via satellite, guitar wiz Peter Frampton — currently on his farewell tour — stopped in for a live performance and gave Joel a “talk box” like the one the “Show Me the Way” singer famously uses to get unique sounds out of his instrument.

According to Rolling Stone, Joel gave the 20,000 fans in attendance a night to remember with a two-and-a-half hour set that ended with “Uptown Girl” and “It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me,” then finally, “You May Be Right,” for which Frampton returned to the stage.
