How often do you get to see a friend of Paul McCartney’s in an intimate setting? On Thursday night, McCartney’s band mate Laurence Juber will take center stage at The Vault at Victor Records, at 150 S. White Horse Pike, Berlin, to perform tunes McCartney made famous, some of them with his help.Titled “The Art of McCartney,” the show will include songs from Juber’s stint in the Paul and Linda McCartney band Wings, in addition to many Beatles tunes. For those who haven’t followed this guitarist’s career, Juber has released three albums of acoustic-guitar Beatles songs, the latest being “LJ Can’t Stop Playing the Beatles.”Guitar Magazine named his CD “LJ Plays the Beatles” one of its all-time Top 10 albums. In all, Juber has more than 20 solo albums and won a Grammy for his rendition of “Stand By Me.” You have also heard his music in the TV show “Home Improvement” and the films “Dirty Dancing,” “Good Will Hunting” and “Pocahontas.”
