As part of the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, Queen is expected to receive an honorary “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the 2018 ceremony. Other artists to receive the award includes Neil Diamondthe MetersLouis JordanEmmylou HarrisHal Blaine and Tina Turner.

Although they have been nominated four times, Queen has not received one Grammy award. However, the band has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame for their songs “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “We Are The Champions.”

The Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award is given to artists “who, during their lifetimes, have made creative contributions of outstanding artistic significance to the field of recording.”

Other artists in rock that have received this award includes The BeatlesJames BrownGeorge Harrison, Chuck Berry, David BowieThe DoorsLeonard Cohen.
