Artist Christhebarker has taken on the task of reviewing the year’s celebrity deaths in one image. Paying homage to the lost icons, he has created a photomontage as a sort of visual obituary. Since November 2016 he has had to systematically update the image adding to Prince, David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Zaha Hadid, Alan Rickman, Anton Yelchin, and Muhammad Ali. The latest update was made on the December 26 following the death of George Michael. Barker wrote on his blog: “A lot of people speculate that Bowie was actually the glue that was holding the universe together. It’s certainly been a bit different since he tragically passed away.”
