Following its initial success, fans should look forward to the thrilling historical events that will possibly  be showcased in The Crown Season 2. According to HarpersBAZAAR.com, there is a possibility that The Crown Season 2 will feature three or even four new Prime Ministers. Anthony Eden (Jeremy Northam) took the position at the end of the season. However, it seems like he will only have a short reign.Fans should expect to see Eden, Harold Macmillan and Sir Alec Douglas-Home if the upcoming season has the same timeline as the first one. In case the upcoming episodes  cover a decade in British history, the show might even include Harold Wilson.Similarly, there is also a  possibility of the upcoming episodes covering the Suez crisis. This was a major embarrassment for Britain and the reason why Eden was overthrown from the chair of Prime Minister.On a brighter note, The Beatles could also make an appearance on the show. The band made their debut on 1961 with their hit song, Love Me Do, airing on 1962. Moreover, the royals were huge fans of the artists, specifically Prince Charles.Moviepilot.com reports that Prince Phillip (Matt Smith) will change his lifestyle in the coming episodes. During the season finale, he left on a 2-year tour that would help him “adjust to his role as concert” to the Queen. So it seems like he will become a more family-oriented man in the coming season.
