Paul McCartney didn’t really need to look for any new material whenever he worked on one of his records.He was the living embodiment of what pop music stood for whenever he made an album, and even though many people could get tired of his lyrics from time to time, there’s no denying that the guy could write some of the catchiest tunes in the world without even thinking about it half the time. But if there’s one thing that has followed Macca around for the entirety of his career, it’s his habit of being more than a little bit corny every so often when he gets on the microphone.
