The upcoming Beatles biopics that Sam Mendes is currently working on have been a source of both excitement and stress for every fan. Biopics are a very difficult genre to tackle, and the fact that the movies will be about perhaps the most popular band that has ever existed makes things even harder. But there are some details surrounding the project that should ease fans’ impatience somewhat. For one, while there have been countless biopics that the band members have felt didn’t do their story justice, this is the first time Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and John Lennon and George Harrison’s families have backed a project. Not only that, but it seems that both the cast and the director are keeping the surviving Beatles very involved in the process. At least, Ringo Starr feels confident about Barry Keoghan playing him.
