Despite Ringo Starr originally cementing himself as a pivotal person in music and pop culture, and him being persistently in the public eye for over six decades, it appears we still have a lot to learn about him. While promoting his most recent (and fairly lacklustre) record, Look Up, Ringo Starr revealed during an interview that he has never once eaten pizza. The revelation came out of Starr admitting he was allergic to a number of different items and, therefore, didn’t take any chances when it came to eating food. This has led to Starr avoiding food that many of us would consider dietary staples. It would be bizarre to hear anybody admit to never having eaten pizza, but the fact he’s a Beatle who has had an unlimited amount of money and resources available to him since a young age makes the whole thing feel particularly perplexing.
