The Beatles favourite John Lennon deemed meaningless
When embarking on the musical odyssey through The Beatles‘ extensive back catalogue it is difficult to find yourself agreeing with every single thing they put out. The group were so prolific in their delivery that finding 20 of your favourite tunes is as easy as finding 20 you hate. If you need proof of that continuous dichotomy, then you need only look at John Lennon who spent as much of his post-Beatles time lamenting as he did loving them.If you so happened to be in the vicinity of the band’s founding member, then it soon became clear Lennon would never hesitate to let you know his opinion. The singer and songwriter for The Beatles had become quietly accustomed to his position of power in the music business and wasn’t afraid of sharing his caustic views once in a while—even when it concerned the iconic Liverpudlian band. In fact, for the most part, in Lennon’s eyes, only The Beatles could remark on the Fab Four.
