Boston auction house puts rare Beatles contract up for sale | masslive.com

A sales agreement signed by all four Beatles a month before John Lennon’s death in 1980 is being sold by a Boston auction house.RR Auction, headquartered in the city’s North End, estimated the 11-page agreement has a value of $80,000. The auction closes on Thursday and the bidding nwo stands at $25,000.The Beatles purchased the building at 3 Saville Row in London in July 1968.The Fab Four recorded a portion of their “Let It Be” album and documentary film in the basement studio there. They gave their final live performance from its rooftop on January 30, 1969.
