In case you missed the live show, here’s the Youtube replay:
Like Lennon, Madonna or Beyoncé – Hollis needs only one name.
Currently, he is the pioneer behind the inception of Nashville’s premier lounge and distinguished music showcase venue… The Eighth Room – formerly the famed Douglas Corner, he and his team have transformed the venue into a premiere showcase place, a hip lounge and THE place to see and be seen in Nashville, TN.
Prior to the club ownership gig, Hollis was a Versatile Artist Development Specialist who excelled in the entire music production lifecycle: talent discovery, release, marketing, and branding. Proven in nurturing emerging talents, building industry relationships, and optimizing success through strategic plans. Strong communication and organizational skills, passionate about fostering artistic excellence from discovery to securing record deals. In particular he:
• Drove “The Pink Spiders” to notable market exposure and a competitive edge.
• Led major 21st-century label signing with proactive strategies.
• Innovated three albums, securing a multi-million dollar Geffen deal.
• Negotiated a six-figure Sony Music Publishing deal with persuasive skills.
• Established pivotal T-Mobile collaboration for the “Pink Razor” brand.
His “Punk Aristocrats” Brand would:
• Revitalize brand images through strategic assessments, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
• Leverage impactful connections with brands like Levi’s, Sony Music, Boost Mobile, and Samsung.
• Lead end-to-end brand development, content creation, and artist releases for amplified visibility in competitive markets.
• Drove Punk Aristocrats Radio 1 curation, achieving 25,000+ weekly listening hours.
• Grew followers by 4,000+ per week through targeted social media marketing.
• Simultaneously contribute to music production and artist development initiatives.
And, as director of music at Mad Minds Entertainment he:
• Strategically connected US and Asia music markets, fostering mutually beneficial connections.
• Proactively formulated, enhanced brand-centric content by an impressive 80%, optimizing media strategies.
• Established effective communication channels with distributors, facilitating new music acquisitions.
And as if that wasn’t enough, as Music Director at Ryan Seacrest Entertainment working with American Idol superstars he:
• Extensively collaborated with top-tier artists: Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Charlie Puth, Backstreet Boys, Flo Rida, Keith Urban, and Jason Derulo.
• Spearheaded talent booking, ensuring seamless coordination, and developing strong relationships.
• Meticulously addressed recording necessities for artists, contributing to overall project success.
• Worked closely with performers and producers to define and attain the desired sound for each production.
Partnered with media executives to craft compelling music stories for diverse audiences.
• Fostered essential collaboration with Ryan Seacrest Productions, emphasizing expertise in branded content management and elevated media development.
• Played a key role in shaping narratives on critical issues through effective storytelling and nuanced understanding of public opinion.
He once famously licked both Ruth & Martin on the cheek outside The Hotel Café in Hollywood, CA and now, he owns a nightclub. In Music City. Tune in Tuesday.
What could possibly go wrong?
