Over 60 legendary musicians have teamed up for a wonderfully epic new charity single, Going Home (Theme From Local Hero). Grouped under the banner Mark Knopfler’s Guitar Heroes, everyone from Ronnie Wood and Pete Townshend to Ringo Starr, Slash, Tony Iommi and Joan Jett have joined forces to help raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust and Teen Cancer America with the track.“What I really want to do, more than anything else, is just to thank each and every one for this sterling response,” enthuses Mark Knopfler of the huge endeavour. “I really had no idea that it was going to be like this. It hit Guy [Fletcher, editor] and I quite early on that we had to extend this piece somehow, to take in the number of people who joined in.
