Paul Simon shared a strong kinship with the late Beatles guitarist George Harrison. While Simon was enamoured by Harrison’s strong musical talent, which dazzled millions through his work with and without The Beatles, the singer-songwriter was more impressed with the gentle humility of the Liverpudlian.Considering his success with The Beatles, Harrison could have easily become lost in his ego and allowed himself to get drunk off his riches. However, that never became an issue for Harrison, who thankfully turned to spirituality to keep himself in check and not believe the earth revolved around his axis.
