Ringo Starr ‘quite capable of making a satisfactory employee’ in school records – Liverpool Echo
A collection of rare Beatles memorabilia, including some of Ringo Starr’s school documents and a portrait of John Lennon painted by Stuart Sutcliffe, has gone up for auction.Tracks Auctions are hosting the sale, with part of the proceeds from the sale of some items being donated to the Liverpool Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.Lot 42 of the auction includes a Dingle Vale Secondary record card, with Ringo’s personal information and test results along with an ‘Application for Admission of Child’ sheet, which has been handwritten by Ringo himself in pencil. He has written his full name, date of birth, mother and father’s names and nationalities, home address, previous schools, and medical history.
