Michael Jackson’s estate has agreed to sell its 50 percent stake in Sony/ATV – publishers of The Beatles songwriting catalog – to its partner for $750 million.The deal is expected to erase debt carried by the Jackson estate, while strengthening Sony position as a music publishing house, according to CNN.In addition to the John Lennon-Paul McCartney songwriting catalog of the 1960s, Sony/ATV’s catalog includes works from artists such as Wyclef Jean and Taylor Swift.
