On this day in 1978, Ringo Starr’s TV special, Ringo aired. The musical version of The Prince and the Pauper featuring the drummer playing both characters, Ringo and Ognir Rrats. George Harrison narrated it. The made for TV special also starred many 70s heavy hitters like Art Carney, Carrie Fisher, Vincent Price, and John Ritter. It’s so bad it’s good.
