LA RONY started playing the piano in the age of six years. She started writing her own lyrics and singing in public in her teens. While living in many different countries and cultures her love to music grew deeper and became her therapy and safe place. She started reaching out to other musicians, playing in big bands and doing solo perfomances in many different countries like the USA, Spain, Israel and Germany. In 2022 she completed her Bachelor in Vocal Perfomance in Berlin. Her main focus has remained on her biggest passion: vocal performance and songwriting. Musical Influences have been Lauryn Hill, Amy Winehouse, Christina Aguilera and Jorja Smith.

The song „Subway“ is a cooperation between german neo-soul, RnB Singer/Songwriter LA RONY and producer Yes/No from Israel. They both met during their music studies 2019 in Tel Aviv and kept in touch the following years. „Subway“ is defined by its vibey Neo-soul, RnB feel caused by catchy vocal melodies and slow groovy drums.
Producer Yes/No arranged bass, synth, piano, electric guitars and drums into a superb instrumental track that carries a laid back, chill feel and that created a lot of space for vocal interpretation of LA RONY.

Melodies and Lyrics written by LA RONY treat the process of letting a past love go and still crying after someone, even in a literal sense like on the subway in midst of strangers. The grief and confusion that comes with an ending love is the main theme of the song.
The song was mastered by brazilian sound engineer Guilherme Chiappetta. The music video was filmed on the subway of New York City from Venezuelan film maker Stephanie Soto-Rivera Kopczak.
