A letter penned by John Lennon as a child is expected to fetch more than £30,000 at auction next month.Written at age 11, after Christmas 1951, the thank-you message is the Beatles star’s earliest known note.In it he thanks his Aunt Harriet, the younger sister of his mother Julia, for his gifts, which included a book about ships and a towel.
