Hamish Stuart has toured with 4 All Starr Bands (2006, 2008, 2019 and 2022) and ‘Work To Do’ is always a crowd favourite. Hamish recalls the moment he first heard the Isley Brothers’ funky and soulful song during a trip to Los Angeles, and shortly after he recorded his own version with his Scottish funk band. The Average White Band released their rendition in 1974, and the song rose to #10 on the Billboard Disco Singles Chart, and with it their self titled album hit #1 on the Billboard 200.
