WEST VILLAGE, NY — A West Village building where John Lennon and Yoko Ono used to live quietly sold earlier this year for nearly nine million, as first reported by Dirt.

While many people know the couple’s other famous New York City digs such as The Dakota and to a lesser extent the St. Regis Hotel — where Lennon released his album “Imagine” — fewer people know about 105 Bank St.

The four-story townhouse sold earlier this year for $8.8 million, but decades earlier, Lennon and Ono lived there from 1971 to 1973, reported Dirt.
