Did the Beatles and Bob Dylan write a song together?
Is there a lost Bob Dylan song about someone named “Maureen”?
Why haven’t we heard the Beatles and Bob Dylan collaboration song before? In this video, we hear the untold story about the time Bob Dylan collaborated with the Beatles and how it was created. On the lost tapes (Nagra reels), George Harrison pitches to the Beatles a previously unknown collaboration between Bob Dylan and the Beatles. On the tapes, we can also hear Ringo Starr mentioning that Bob Dylan wrote the song for him. But if what George is saying is true, why is there no record anywhere else of a lost Bob Dylan about someone named “Maureen”? In Woodstock in 1968 for Thanksgiving weekend, George and Pattie Harrison met with Robbie Robertson to hang out and see what they do up in those mountains. During their trip, George and Pattie visited Bob Dylan in his home in Woodstock. The first days they were quiet in each other’s company, but after a few days George and Dylan broke out the guitars.
