During their time in The Beatles, George Harrison and Paul McCartney didn’t always agree on everything. They did, however, share a few traits that they both admired. George liked Paul’s songs, and Paul liked George’s song, “Martha My Dear” from the White Album.
The Beatles’ George Harrison and Paul McCartney didn’t always get along.
When George began penning songs, Paul and his relationship began to fall apart.
When Paul came forward with his songs, John Lennon, and The Beatles’ producer George Martin treated him disrespectfully. Paul began treating George like a glorified session man because he felt like a junior member. George was frequently unable to offer his opinions because Paul would tell him to play whatever he wanted. Before Paul even thought about recording one of George’s songs, George had to assist Paul with a ton of his own songs.
