A master builder is set to recreate The Beatles’ ‘Abbey Road’ album cover out of LEGO.

Steve Guinness, better known as The Brick Consultant, has started work on his 16,500 creation at the Museum of Liverpool today.

Expected to take three days to complete, the creation will celebrate music icons John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

In partnership with the National Museums Liverpool, Steve, 47, is inviting families to help him create the spectacular mosaic.

Visitors will be provided with instructions on how to build their small section before handing it over to Steve to add to the overall piece.

Steve, originally from Chester, explained to 2Chill : “I run events in Museums, visitor centres and schools, making a wide range of LEGO creations.
