WESTERLY — Music-lovers of a certain age will remember the once-popular British singing duo Peter and Gordon — favorites from the British Invasion days — for their songs “A World Without Love,” “I Go To Pieces” and “Lady Godiva.”

Next week, music-lovers of all ages will be able to see half of that famous duo at the United Theatre when Peter Asher — now a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire — brings his hit show to Westerly.

“Peter Asher: A Musical Memoir of the 60s and Beyond” will bring a multimedia experience to the United’s main stage and will be hosted by the two-time Grammy-winner for Producer of the Year himself.
