Celebrate the 50th anniversary of McCartney with a limited edition Record Store Day release
Arriving Saturday 26th September
Originally released in April 1970 just one month before The Beatles’ swansong album Let It Be, McCartney was Paul McCartney’s debut solo record, and is considered one of the greatest solo debuts in rock history.
A self-produced album on which Paul played every instrument himself, the eponymous album represented a creative rebirth, bursting with new ideas, experiments, playfulness and freedom.
The album is now reissued on 180g black vinyl as a half-speed master cut at Abbey Road Studios, exclusively for Record Store Day 2020.
