The classic drummer of The Beatles, Ringo Starr, has posted a confusing tweet on his Twitter account recently. Attached to a picture of John Lennon, Starr celebrated Lennon’s birthday.
With his post coming onSeptember 9, many fans flooded the comment section of the picture, pointing out Starr’s mistake. They furthermore indicated that the great legend’s birthday is actually onOctober 9 and that Starr is ‘a month early.’
Here is how Starr captioned the post:
“John would’ve been 80 today I send you peace and love I still miss you man peace and love to Yoko and Sean.”
While 80-year-old Starr‘s early tweet entertained his fans, his confusion is not totally reasonable. Upon noticing the reaction of his post later in the day, he posted a correction regarding his confusing tweet.
Receiving overwhelming feedback, here is what Starr posted followingly:
“What happened sometimes you get up in the morning and you don’t know where you are it’s the pandemic driving us crazy I still love John but it’s not his birthday till next month peace and love. Better early than never.”
