Harry Styles’ Gucci Campaign Soundtracked by Blac Rabbit Cover of The Beatles’ ‘Michelle’ | Billboard
As if this past weekend’s photos of Harry Styles — clad from head-to-toe in Gucci, holding a chicken — weren’t enough, an accompanying video of the scene has been released via Gucci’s social media accounts.
In the video, the band Blac Rabbit’s rendition of The Beatles’ “Michelle” plays as Styles is seen strutting down the streets of London wearing a checkered dressing gown over a pinstripe, double-breasted suit — minus the shirt. The blue-toned Alessandro Michele-designed look is paired with cream loafers, lavender socks and a red necklace.
Carrying a chicken under his arm, Styles ventures into a traditional “chippy,” or fish and chip shop. As he waits in line, the screen flashes between shots of the scenery, the children in the store, the breaded fish and the chicken walking through a field.
After ordering, Styles places his chicken on the counter and walks outside. The video ends with Styles leaning against a wall next to a young boy (pictured above), whose plaid shirt mirrors his own. Director Glen Luchford’s credit appears over a clip of the chicken, still standing on the counter.
Although the British rock star has always been partial to the famed Italian brand, this marks his first official campaign with Gucci.
